My new favourite bar in town! Classy, shabby-chic type of decor. Cosy and warm atmosphere. Great ales. The host is a beautiful dog, she doesn't mind if you pet her! She hired two nice bartenders, too. And there's an arcade video-game machine. I mean, seriously... This is paradise. I wish they had whiskeys, too!

Mulled Cider, comfy chairs, wonderful welcome from an exceptional host who let us bring in our own fish and chips! Thoroughly recommended

A really well stocked bottle shop and tap room. Stumbled across the place by accident but was a great find. Had really fresh local beer and neipa, IPA, sours etc at (I think) very fair prices. Everything I sampled was great over two visits. Live music in the evening and wish I could have stayed for that too. Dog friendly with scooby snacks at the bar

Can't go wrong with Bottle and Barrel. Not only is there the most incredible selection of really decent craft beers, ciders and mead, but it's also just such a great place to be. Warm atmosphere in a lovely space, very comfy and dog friendly. Bring your own food or order with the delicious fish restaurant over the road. Bottle shop to take beers home with you too. Above all run by a friendly and helpful team. A must visit for anyone in Aber.

Fabulous place for an incredible selection of craft beers, cider, wine and spirits from Wales and elsewhere. Such nice people! And check out their sister venue, The Bank Vault, where you can listen to live music several nights a week.

While it is a small venue, you absolutely should not underestimate the gigantic range of drinks that Bottle and Barrel serve. It's enormous, and there is absolutely something for everyone here. Dogs are allowed (I'd even say encouraged haha!), there's comfy seating (although limited) and an array of board games for those of us with bad attention spans! There's also a very small beer garden with a small outdoor heater mounted on the wall for cooler evenings. Staff are very friendly, and happy to make a recommendation if you are a bit overwhelmed by the choice. All in all, I really like this venue. I will come back again and again :)

Visited here almost every day of our weeks holiday. Fantastic range including loads of great local breweries and perfectly kept cask. All of the staff we encountered were really friendly very knowledgeable and an absolute credit to the place. We most certainly did not feel like tourists ;-) Cheese board was brilliant value too. Excellent options for drink in/takeout including some epic local ciders. Big thumbs up!

Along with its sister pub at the top of town, this is the best place to drink beer in Aber. Incredible selection on tap and in the fridges. Maybe get some more of those stouts chilling though!
